RMaxx Heavy Duty Push / Bull Bars for Rivian R1T / R1S Front Grille and Rear Bumper

The RMaxx Heavy Duty Brush Bar / Bull Bar for the Rivian R1T and R1S front grille and rear bumper is engineered to deliver serious protection for real adventure—not just looks. Built with our trademark attention to detail, the front Brush Bar bolts on and provides full-width coverage across the front fascia and grille. It wraps up and over the leading edge of the hood, and extends below the tow hooks to protect the underside leading edge of the front bumper fascia.  And you don’t lose your tow hooks. We mount using the factory tow-hook attachment points, then add new heavy-duty tow hooks integrated into our mounting frame—so you keep full-size, full-strength recovery capability.

We took the same approach at the rear. The rear Brush Bar extends from the factory bumper and follows the vehicle’s contours, keeping the license plate unobstructed and the tow hitch usable (drop hitch required). No more backing into obstacles and crushing the rear end—and it’s rigid enough to use as a step. If you’ve ever tried to reach into the bed without a rear bumper, you know the struggle. Problem solved: step up on the rear bar and get to work.

These are true extreme-duty components, designed for function first. The front Brush Bar uses dual heavy-duty receiver-style mounts—far stronger than the common “bolt it to the factory tow hooks” approach. We avoided that method because it won’t meaningfully protect the vehicle under impact (the bar can fold into the front end) and it typically sacrifices tow-hook functionality. Our bar can also be unbolted from the receiver mounts and removed easily for service or whenever you want it off. The rear Brush Bar uses the same receiver-mount concept and can also be quickly unbolted if needed.

Installation is straightforward with minor modifications. The front bar requires small trims to the rubber seals around the factory tow hooks. The rear bar requires cutting two holes in the plastic bumper fascia (hole-saw template included) to allow the receiver mounts to pass through, and relocating the pedestrian speaker and Bluetooth modules inside the bumper cover. For both front and rear installs, the fascia is removed, and we provide step-by-step instructions throughout.

Fitment:

For Gen I Rivian R1T / R1S the Brush / Bull Bar Guards do not interfere with the front radar sensor, headlights, or side-access charging port doors.  We have not tested on Gen II / 2025+ for sensor compatibility - may cause interference with front radar.
